October 2022 Side Hustle Update

Property Rentals

In October, I found another “renter” (actually a roommate who is renting a room), and two weeks later he left. He hated his new job. His job was tough, and he got a bad manager. It took quite a long time to find him. We’ll see how long it takes to find another non-smoking renter.

Thankfully, the first renter I found in August is still sticking around.

Knife Sharpening

I bought the Edge Pro Apex 3 knife sharpening kit for $225. It would’ve been a little cheaper, but I paid extra for shipping because I didn’t want to buy it from Amazon. I specifically bought this sharpening kit because someone from the Side Hustle Nation mentioned they bought it and started a little side hustle sharpening knives.

The good news is that I have no idea what I’m doing, and what I’m doing isn’t working. If it was too simple, it’d be difficult to sell. As always, I hate selling. If I’m going to sell something, I have to believe my customers will be getting their money’s worth.

I followed the instructions. I pull the little knob back and push it forward, but knife doesn’t sharpen. I don’t know what I do wrong.
